Recently, Adobe has released their Adobe Reader version 8.1.2. Adobe also have it for *nix/Linux system. You can get them at here.

Adobe provides .rpm, .deb and also .tar.gz format.

There's a small problem in this 8.1.x release. When launch it for the first time and go to Help
--> Beyond Adobe Reader, it will complain about libgtkembedmoz.

For this problem, you have just go to Edit-->PreferencesInternet, and type the location where you install your Sea Monkey browser. Usually you can find them at /usr/lib/seamonkey-x.y.z.
